Our task was to program the mbot and to play around or tinker with it to see what it can do and what codes we can add to it. We had to use various types of codes to make it work and functions the way we wanted it. We also had to make a mini dance party with our mbots which was also very fun and we learned a lot from it. We also learned how to put them mbots together and making its light flash in different colors or making the lights flash 2 different colors at one time. We were successful at the end of our project some minor mistakes we could’ve fixed but in the end we got what we wanted.
Here is some of the codes we used to operate our mbot to do various things and we have to reset alot of stuff and delete the stuff to get it right. we didn’t know how many times to use one code we just kept guessing and hoping for the best sometimes. Like as you see we put alot of ‘ set of board ‘ for the lights because we wanted to lights to keep going on and off kind of like a ambulance maybe like they have the lights flashing red and blue. Making the mbot turn on a certain speed and keep the rest kind of neutral also was also definitely a challenge to.
We didn’t really have many challenges considering we didn’t really do anything that complex for our task. I really enjoyed working with my Mbot it was a very good experiences because we were always coding virtual items not anything physical for example on scratch we were always coding the cat to make it do different things and now were coding the Mbot and physical object we can hold and make it to different stuff and operate it through the systems we had. The systems name was M block from were we can code it to do what we want.
